Immersed in Tallahassee, FL's vibrant local music scene and festivals throughout my childhood, my journey into the entertainment industry took root in 1989. As a young stagehand at the Leon County Civic Center, I discovered a lasting passion for live music, an experience that would shape my future.
1993 proved pivotal when I met Jeff Hanson, a local promoter and owner of Club 506, while I was working at a local music store. Recognizing our shared passion for music, I soon joined Jeff, and what a ride it was! Together, we built several successful bars and music venues, including Metropolis, Big Daddy’s, Fat & Skinny’s, and Floyd's Music Store, an experience that provided invaluable insight into the live music industry.
In 1998, I joined Jeff at his new artist management firm, JHMP. This led to the significant opportunity of managing the emerging college rock band Creed. Under JHMP's guidance, Creed achieved phenomenal success, including seven #1 hits and over 35 million records sold worldwide.
